Self-taught, Emma has spent her life traveling on the road, or living on a sailboat for extended amounts of time with family. Her art work reflects her passion for escaping to the open road or the ocean to document the places she left behind in order to preserve them. This is the inspiration behind creating her own paints, from many roads less traveled, “I make natural pigments from rocks, dirt, sand and mud from different places.”
When Emma isn’t traveling and painting, she resides with her family in central FL beekeeping, motorcycle riding, gardening, baking and caring for her chickens.
